We added two guides for people running the numbers on a short-term rental. The startup-cost playbook itemizes what it actually takes to launch: furnishing by property size, the soft costs people forget, permits and licensing, and the cash you need before the first booking. The financing playbook explains how lenders treat short-term rental income, the difference between conventional, DSCR, and second-home loans, and why projected revenue gets discounted.
Alongside the playbooks we added 25 short-term-rental glossary terms, so the jargon in both guides links to a plain-language definition.
